How It Works

Work will commence upon the written acceptance of the terms and conditions agreed on by the client and e-Cost Estimating and the receipt of project plans and specifications.

e-Cost will perform the work necessary to complete the estimate by a pre-determined schedule agreed on by both parties.

The estimate including interactive worksheets will be sent via e-mail two days prior to the final bid date and a conference call will be scheduled between the client and e-Cost to review in detail all assumptions and determinations made in the estimate.   At this time the client and e-Cost will document all changes using the interactive documents and spreadsheet.

Once the final number is determined e-Cost will e-mail the modified electronic documents to the client. A hardcopy backup will follow via regular mail. This action constitutes the end of the contract . Our fee is payable immediately after the transfer of information.

The final dollar amount on the estimate plus any additional services agreed on will determine the final fee (see e-Cost’s Estimate Rate Schedule).

e-Cost makes every effort to provide our clients with the most current cost information available using our state of the art in-house estimating and data base technology. However, e-Cost‘s fee is not contingent on the results of the bid. The bottom line on the bid is the final decision and responsibility of the client.
